From valet to check-in to dealers to the staff we were impressed. We were more than pleased with DownStream Casino.
If you do not like pool time or casino time I. The gift shop at the casino is of course a tad over-priced. I suggest stopping there to pick up bottled water and what not for your room. There is a gas station right before you enter Downstream. We had a really fun time although we gambled our winnings away. The casino was a lot of fun with plenty of slot machines and black jack tables.
I love the mini fridge! I loved the HUGE restroom and a regular size hair dryer! The rooms were clean, comfortable, very roomy, and we could not hear anyone in the rooms around us. The Red Oak is expensive but it was worth the price. For a short stay I think the food options are fine however, we stayed through Sunday morning and got a little tired of the same variety of food. We were planning to stay Thursday night through Saturday morning. You could tell they were overwhelmed but they still did a GREAT job. The slow service was due to not staffing properly so I don't blame the waiter/waitresses. The only slow service or lack of service was at Buffalo Grill and one day at the pool.
